We all conscious of this word Artificial Intelligence and it’s popularity in today’s world, but we do not know what exactly it is?

Can AI replace human?

In most appropriate words, Artificial Intelligence defined as any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of successfully achieving its goals.

A more elaborate definition of Artificial Intelligence as “a systems ability to properly interpret external data, to find out from such data, and to use those learnings to realize specific goals and tasks through flexible adaptation.”
In today’s time, AI embrace
✓ with success understanding human speech
✓ competitive at the very best level in strategic games such as Chess and Go
✓ operative cars
✓ intelligent routing in content delivery networks
✓ military simulations

Artificial intelligence was 1st introduced as an instructional discipline in 1955, and within the years since has experienced many disappointments and optimism.
For many of its history, AI analysis has been divided into sub-fields that always fail to speak with one another. These sub-fields area unit supported technical concerns like
✓ Robotics or Machine learning
✓ Logic or Artificial neural networks

Compared with humans, existing AI lacks many options of human-like “common sense reasoning”.
Most notably, humans have powerful mechanisms for reasoning concerning “natural physics” like
✓ space
✓ time
✓ physical interactions

This allows even young kids to simply build inferences like “If I roll this pen off a table, it’ll fall on the floor”.
This lack of “common knowledge” implies that AI usually builds completely different mistakes than humans make, in ways in which will appear
 incomprehensible.
 As an example, existing self-driving cars cannot reason concerning the situation nor the intentions of pedestrians within the precise manner that humans do and instead should use non-human modes of reasoning to avoid accidents.

Tools of Artificial Intelligence

AI has developed many different tools to solve very difficult and different problems in computer science

✓ Artificial neural network
✓ Evaluating progress

Researcher Andrew Ng has suggested that “almost anything a typical human can do with less than one second of mental thought, we can probably now or in the near future automate using Artificial Intelligence”.
Moravec’s paradox suggests that Artificial Intelligence lags humans at many tasks that the human brain has specifically evolved to perform well.

Games provide a well-publicised benchmark for assessing rates of progress.
AlphaGo around 2016 brought the age of classical board-game benchmarks to an in-depth.

The “imitation game” (an interpretation of the 1950 Turing test that assesses whether a computer can imitate a human) is nowadays considered too exploitable to be a meaningful benchmark.

A derivative of the Turing test is the Completely Automated Public Turing Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA).
As the name implies, this helps to work out that a user is an actual person and not a computer posing as a person.

In contrast to the quality Turing test, CAPTCHA is run by a machine and targeted to a person.
A common kind of CAPTCHA is that the test that needs the typing of distorted letters, numbers or symbols that appear during a picture undecipherable by a computer.

Economical aspects of Artificial Intelligence

A survey of economists showed disagreement regarding whether or not the increasing use of robotics and artificial intelligence can cause a considerable increase in long-term unemployment, however, they understand that it can be a net profit if productivity gains are distributed.
In Feb 2020 European Community study on computer science advocated for computer science for economic edges, including
✓ rising care (e.g. creating diagnosing additional precise, facultative higher hindrance of diseases)
✓ increasing the potency of farming
✓ conducive to temperature change mitigation and adaptation
✓ rising the potency of production systems
